below presents sales data in a restaurant that located in an urban business
area. The data consist of a week sales of 1-7 october which recorded during
lunch and dinner time.
The
most striking feature that can be notice is that sales during weekend has the
lowest point than other days, in both dinner and lunch. Saturday’s sales on lunch
was the least with purchase below 2$. Meanwhile, for dinner Sunday was the
lowest with only 2.45$ of sales.
On
the other hand, the rate of meal trade at this restaurant showed a fluctuative
trend. This condition occurred in lunch and dinner sales. However, for lunch’s
meal, the highest sales is on Monday with 2.4$ revenue. As for dinner Friday
become the most profitable day in a week with 4.35$ of sales.
Overall,
this restaurant showed lower sales performance during weekend compared to
weekdays. Additionally, sales on lunch is lower than dinner. Friday is the most
popular day to buy dinner at this restaurant.
