The graph presents
data on average money that family spent on restaurant food in four different
time between 1970 to 2000. As for the chart, it shows number of meals that
eaten in fast food and sit down restaurant in the same period of time as above.
Data were presented on number of meals per year.
It can be seen
from the graph that percentage of money that spend in restaurant shown an
upward trend over the year. As it opposite, it was downward trend in home
meals. In 1970, there were only 10% of budget spent in restaurant food. This number
increased slightly to 15% in 1980. The trend continue to occurred in 1990, the
number was doubled than a decade a go with 35% of budget spent in restaurant. Meanwhile,
in 2000 people spent 50% of their money in restaurant. The percentage was five
times doubled in just 40 years.
in the other
hands, people were prefer to eat at fast food restaurant than before. In 1970,
number of cuisine that eaten in fast food and sit down restaurant were the same
at around 20 meals. This number were increased in 1980 for both types of
restaurant. From 1990 to 2000, the data in fast food restaurant were rose dramatically as it reached its peak
in nearly 90 meals in 2000. However, there was only a slight increased in sit
down restaurant.
