Private schools and Taxes Payment

Education is very important to improve quality of our life. Some parents are sending their kids to non-government schools in order to get a better quality of education. It is generally believed that these schools are more expensive than public schools. This phenomenon resulted in opinion that these people are not required to pay taxes. However, I disagree with this statement.

There are several reason why people who send their kids to a non-government school still have obligation to pay taxes.

First of all, it is undeniable that to be a good citizenship we are obligate to pay taxes. Clearly, taxes have some benefits to a nation’s development. For instance, money from taxes payment will be use to build roads, bridges and other infrastructures.

Secondly, to improve education system is everyone’s responsibility. People with low income they are for sure do not be able to send their children to non-government schools. There should be an equality between private and public school in term of its quality. Here, the taxes payment which come from middle and upper income people might be helpful to those low income class. Taxes payment will be use to make education system and schools better than before. So that, good education will be assessable for all citizenship.

Finally, it is generally accepted that society with upper income should pay taxes more than others people. Since, most of parents who have kids in private schools come from high income class, so they are still have to pay taxes.

Overall, taxes payment is still required to do by people that have their kids in non-government schools because taxes will not only use for education but also other things that a nation needed. To create better quality of educational system is responsibility of all citizenship.
