The graph presents data on technology that used by college student to prepare assignment at a university in 1970, 1982 and 1994. It can be seen that computer became more popular over the period of time. 

To begin, in 1970 ball point pen was the most popular tools to prepare assignment among students, with 50% of preferences. Meanwhile, fountain pen was followed by nearly 40% of the total assignment, followed by typewriter. In the other hand, computer was not exist yet as tools for student that time. 

In 1982, typewriter had gain its popularity with more than 40% of student use it for assignment purposes. Ball point pen was still student’s favorite with the same percentage as typewriter. However, fountain pen utilization had dropped sharply to rate below 10%. Apparently, computer started to appear as new technology in early 1980’s.

Computer was the most common technology that used by student in 1994, with half of total assignment done using computer. Meanwhile, other tools had fell dramatically except for typewriter which still popular that time with almost 40% assignment.
